The news always uses this embarrassing photo of me leaving a Porta Potty. I wish I could just take photos of myself so they'd stop using that picture.

I've done stupid things as Spider-Man, too.

You remember that night you fished me out of the lake?

Ned told everyone that I knew Spider-Man during gym class one day and this guy, Flash, said that I should invite Spider-Man to Liz's party.

I was really ticked off at Ned for saying that because everyone already gave me a hard time over the meeting Iron Man thing.

[st_arkintern]

Ned wanted me to show up as Spider-Man to show up Flash and give him fist bump or something. Neither one of us is really popular and I think Ned's more self-conscious about it than I am.

I tell Ned I'm not going to do it.

We show up at the party and Flash is DJing and the second he sees me he starts making fun of me. Over the speakers so everyone can hear it.

He's always calling me Penis Parker.

[st_arkintern]

So even though I told Ned I wasn't going to, I go up to Liz's roof and get ready to make an appearance as Spider-Man, even though I told Ned that Spider-Man was not a party trick.

But then the whole thing happened with the Shocker and the Vulture I ended up leaving the party to stop him.

And I really know that if that hadn't happened I would have gone down there as Spider-Man just to show Flash up.

It was really dumb and I get really embarrassed thinking about it because it's not really the kind of thing that superheroes normally do.

Can you imagine Captain America doing something like that?

I don't know.

I guess I'm trying to say everyone does stupid things sometimes.

Yeah, but no one ever sees it. I haven't gotten to see it because I'm never around them. All I really know about them is what's on YouTube and Reddit and most of the time it's fake stuff that people post for upvotes.

I just never get to see the Avengers make mistakes and it makes me feel like I can't really make them.
