Compared to the 1 in 2 and greater odds I face in my near future outside the cushy kitsch dimension? I like these better.

And not nothing. That 1 in 5 refers to biological death. My brain would have gotten mapped onto the suit.

I'm not trying to minimize or use appeal to the outcome bias, here. Clarifying is all I can do at this point.

I was in a questionable state of mind when I took the plunge.

It was right after room arrest. Wouldn't call it "spur of the moment" exactly. Spun my wheels over it for several days.

Days and you still chose to do it when there was no urgent need for it.

I'm not going to escalate things by arguing the urgency of our situation.

I could and should have acted more like a team player about it. Story of my life. I'm sure you're sick of that old refrain by this point.
