That was new! Last time, the armor had been applied piece by piece. Loki knew because it had happened after he'd flung Stark out a window. Clearly, this update was much more efficient. (Part of Loki was even morbidly curious to see if the hand-blast things were improved as well.)
Whatever had alerted Start to his presence hadn't positively identified him or the warning would have been phrased differently. Secure in the knowledge that his cover was intact, Loki moved into plain view and then out of it again, racing to dive under a low bench with a taupe cushion. Exactly like a scared kitten running to hide.
