As lively as he felt these days, it felt right to give his beloved a lively greeting. A little light show from above to get his attention and a rapid descent to join his side. He wasn’t one to be completely outdone when it sounded as if Thor had something special in mind.

“Don’t keep me in suspense.” Before he could descend completely, he positioned himself to sit on the massive man’s shoulder.

Thor gets the signal and sure enough, begins carrying Tony off on his shoulders. "The pool should be open up," he says. "There's a BBQ there. It won't be as good as it would if it were sun-roasted, but I'm sure I can make it taste half-decent."

“I guarantee it will taste just as good.” Tony’s hands crept up Thor’s neck to situate himself in the hammock of the large man’s arms.

"Can't get comfortable?" Thor asks.

“That’s what you’re here for.” Expectantly circling his head to survey the room one last time, Tony grinned widely as ideas buzzed in his head. “I was struck with inspiration. Just now.”

Thor's gaze attempts to follow Tony's.

"What kind of inspiration?"

“For as much as we fly, how about a few more love nests dotting the way?” Carving out a home in the mountains, by the beach, or somewhere well hidden away in the desert...beyond the intimacy, there were so many possibilities.

Thor tilts his head back to get a better look at Tony. "You have any locations in mind?"

"All of them." Restless, Tony flew from Thor's grip when his repulsors activated and he was out the window and into the sky to get a bird's eye view of their burgeoning abode. "Can't believe I didn't think of it before--me!"

Thor lets out a little snort of laughter as Tony zips out of his arms. He waits until he's out of the cabin to summon Stormbreaker to his hand, then joins him up in the sky.

"You think we'll be here long enough to finish all of them?"

"Never stopped me from trying." Iron Man was now in the fray, ascending even higher.

"True," Thor shouts up at Tony as he speeds up to meet Tony's pace; the air is comfortingly cool against his hot skin. "We're going to hit the barrier again if we keep it up."

Stopping short with a clipped sigh, Tony swallowed the harsh pang of resentment over having to mind that annoying detail yet again.

“I’ll go scout the real estate. Come with me.”

There's something strangely appealing of making these little homes-away-from-home for themselves. Will these buildings still be standing after they leave, a living reminder of when he and Tony were still here? People left things behind, but those things seemed to be smaller: paintings, writing, a few favorite possessions. They didn't leave behind landmarks.

Thor smiles and follows. "Okay."
