It seemed reasonable that it wouldn’t be, after all; Brunnhilde (by her name in his mind if not out loud) was not only centuries older than him, probably more than old enough to render birthdays meaningless, she had even less experience translating the dates she knew to a Midgardian calendar. “Why?”
